Inauguration of the exhibition Bessarion’s Book in Defense of Plato: Among the Papers of the Last Byzantine Philosopher, Musei Civici – Museo Correr, Venice, San Marco (entrance: Museo Correr-Ala Napoleonica).
Addresses by Gabriella Belli (Director of Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia), Andrea Bellieni (Museo Correr), Stefano Campagnolo (Director of the Biblioteca Marciana), Antonio Rigo (President AISB), John Haldon (President AIEB) and Sergei Mariev (curator of the exhibition). Followed by the reception at the Museum Café.

40 places available: book from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20 (only for registered participants)

The exhibition will be open to the public from 24 August to 31 October, 9 am-6 pm.
